I've had a blog for about a month and a half and really appreciate everyone who stopped by and read it. So far, I seem to be writing about a mixture of things that I enjoy - living in Washington D.C., trip reports, books I've read, and some education policy stuff. Also, you may notice small design changes every once in a while as I tweak it.
So my questions whether you are an experienced blogger or someone who just stumbled upon my blog, please comment with any thoughts:

I just found your blog through your incredibly generous donorschoose donations! I am considering planning a trip soon with my own children 9who are now 7 and 8). I'm thinking maybe next summer or the summer after when they are a bit older. You could highlight a family friendly destination in the DC area once a month or so. I also love any and all book reviews so keep those up.

Jen - Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. I definitely want to be writing about things that people enjoy to read. Highlighting family friendly destinations is a great idea and even though I don't have any children, my friends do and I will try to do more of that and will add more book reviews as I read things that I think are worth sharing.
